Excerpt: Apparently, the winter of the Gulenists turned out to be the spring of other religious communities. The loyalty of these Islamic groups was rewarded with unprecedented access to public resources and posts. After the July 15 coup attempt, the religious communities close to AKP were euphoric and rushed to fill the void resulting from the purge of Gulenists in state bureaucracy. They also competed with each other to take control of the schools and dormitories seized by the government
